Chart & Graph Generator FAQ

How do I create a chart with this free online generator?

Pick one of 9 chart types, then type your labels and numbers into the table or paste them from a spreadsheet or CSV file. The chart updates as you type. Open Style to set the title, colors, legend and axis titles, then click Download PNG. No signup or registration required.

What types of charts and graphs can I create for free?

Nine chart types, all free: line charts for trends, bar and horizontal bar charts for comparisons, area charts for totals over time, pie and doughnut charts for proportions, radar charts for comparing several criteria, polar area charts, and scatter plots for correlations, which can also be drawn as bubble charts. Every chart can be downloaded as a high-quality PNG image.

Can I export my charts for presentations and business reports?

Yes. Download PNG saves the chart at 1920 pixels wide, twice the usual screen resolution, on a white, dark or transparent background, ready for PowerPoint, Google Slides, Word, reports and websites. Copy puts the image on your clipboard so you can paste it straight into a slide, and CSV saves the data behind it.

How do I make a graph from Excel or Google Sheets data?

Select the cells in your spreadsheet, including the header row, and copy them. Click the first cell of the table and paste, or click Paste and paste them into the box. The first column becomes the labels and every other column becomes a series. You can also open a CSV file.

Can I download a chart with a transparent background?

Yes. Choose Transparent above the chart, then click Download PNG. The image has no background, so it sits cleanly on any slide or web page. White and Dark backgrounds are there too.

Is my chart data uploaded or stored anywhere?

No. The chart is drawn in your browser and your numbers are never sent to a server. Your table and settings are saved in this browser only, so they are still there when you come back.
